"A nurse called by the Hospital to attend a disciplinary meeting or investigatory meeting which could lead to discipline shall have the right to Union representation, which includes the right to interrupt a meeting that has already commenced to request Union representation. It shall be the nurse's responsibility to inform the Hospital that she/he wishes to have such representation".

Patient Care Summary Report Available !

After careful documentation of patient safety issues by you and fellow RNs, the National Nurses United Patient Care Report is complete. On November 1st, 2010, the report was released to District of Columbia regulators.

Further, RNs from Washington Hospital Center marched to John Sullivan's office on the morning of 11/1 to present the report and demand a fair contract with strong patient safety language.
